Visit the Saugerties Light House. You can walk out to the light house or even spend the night in its Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Go to the above web site and find the link for this light house to see what is available.

A new attraction is the Walkway over the Hudson River. On the east side of the river at  61 Parker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. There is an 80 car parking lot, with handicapped parking available. On the west side of the river: at 87 Haviland Road, Highland, NY 12528. Parking is along the road-side, except for handicapped parking which is at the entrance to the bridge.
